We brought together over 250 children, parents and teachers at our “Mum, Dad and I” sports day, held at the Gorna Malina Sports Complex, which graciously hosted our initiative. There was plenty of action, smiles and competitive spirit throughout the day — and all in generous doses for everyone!
In the morning hours, young and old alike tested their skills in relay races designed for speed, agility and dexterity. We dedicated the afternoon programme to team and individual sports — football, dodgeball, table tennis and archery.
The competition in our football tournament was fiercely contested, with the mums giving the dads a real run for their money on the dribbling front. One of them even claimed the Most Valuable Player award — and rightly so!
Dodgeball brought extra energy and took over the entire hall, while our bravest participants put their aim to the test in the archery tournament. Others rekindled their childhood memories in our pairs table tennis competition.
