This is Silviya—our fair-haired fairy of resilience—a psychologist who believes unconditionally in children and is able to catch even the most elusive spark where others might lose all hope, using it to create entire worlds. She works with heart and soul with children who have diverse developmental differences—from learning and concentration difficulties to anxiety and panic attacks.

Like every fairy, Silviya commands many kinds of magic. Alongside her work as a psychologist, she is also a certified neurofeedback and biofeedback therapist. Through these methods, she helps children develop focus and achieve emotional balance and self-regulation. Every small step forward and each sign of progress is a reason for celebration for her. The “screen children” who have grown up before her eyes, she lovingly calls “my children.”

She has led extracurricular activities focused on play, creativity, and storytelling in public libraries in London, United Kingdom, where for many years she was also part of an academic support team for students at one of the local universities. For her, learning never ends—it is a lifelong adventure.
