Andrey Krustev

Psychologist

Adrenaline, gasoline, extreme challenges, devotion taken to the very limit, and one great love that changes everything forever. All of this intertwines in our psychologist Andrey, who, guided by the unfailing compass of his inner child, connects with children and helps them grow more aware, more harmonious, and better.

He knows cars and human souls equally well. He grows up in his father’s garage and graduates from an electrical technical school in Bansko, yet from an early age he is curious about others. Still a teenager, he replaces the comfort of the city with the Spartan life of an assistant hut keeper at Tevno Lake. There, at 2,250 meters above sea level, he takes care of the shelter’s cleanliness, the tourists, and the free-roaming horses. He comes to know the raw beauty and power of nature and finds his own path.

The mountains are his constant passion, while sport and dance are part of his everyday life. He has conquered many peaks, but the icy vertical ridge of Koncheto, which he crosses from end to end in the middle of winter, is his personal record of endurance and spirit—because there, in the ice, it is the most sensible who survive, not the best equipped.

He tests his limits in every possible way and rediscovers his life, choosing to devote himself not to cars, but to people. He graduates in psychology and dedicates himself to natural psychotherapy as a student of Orlin Baev.

Today, Andrey stands side by side with children at school. For him, contact with them is an art and a creative process of growth through the richness of life experience.
