{"id":5530,"date":"2025-01-24T18:17:00","date_gmt":"2025-01-24T18:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cosmos.wowportals.co.uk\/?p=5530"},"modified":"2026-01-15T12:52:58","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T12:52:58","slug":"our-school-launches-2-national-scientific-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cischool.bg\/en\/our-school-launches-2-national-scientific-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Our school launches 2 national scientific projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With great joy, we share that both of our national science projects, carried out in collaboration with the Training Center at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), have been approved for funding!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The projects focus on creating a Small Educational Research Community composed of students and their teacher-mentors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first research community is led by our Science teacher, specializing in Biology and Chemistry, Yavor Denchev, and will explore the topic: \u201cBrain Rot\u201d. The project aims to investigate whether excessive consumption of social media content affects the cognitive functions of the brain in children and young people aged 12 to 22. The study will focus on attention span, problem-solving skills, and memory retention of new information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second research community is guided by our Physics teacher, Hristo Zhelev, and will delve into the \u201cInvestigation of the Climatic Conditions in the Village of Osoitsa, Gorna Malina Municipality\u201d.
