Cosmos International School categorically states that it is not, and has never been, affiliated in any way with organizations, individuals, or activities other than those arising from its core mission as a private secondary school. Any claims, insinuations, or interpretations seeking to associate the school with individuals connected to the tragic incident at the Petrohan mountain hut are entirely unfounded, factually incorrect, and constitute unacceptable speculation.
The school has never organized camps, excursions, or any other joint activities with the aforementioned individuals.
The only interaction consisted of the screening and presentation, in June 2025, of the film “Underwater Caves of Yucatán, Mexico” as part of a children’s science festival, without the school having had any organizational, contractual, or other form of affiliation with the individuals who created or participated in the film.
Such attempts to involve the name of the school undermine its reputation and lack any factual or legal basis.
We extend our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased and express our hope that the search for the missing individuals will conclude successfully.
