On March 13, 2025, the official opening of the new project of the Association for Shared Learning ELA – “Quiet Leadership: Partnerships for Sustainable Childhood” took place in Hall 9 of the Municipal Administration – Gorna Malina.
The project will be implemented within a year and a half in municipal educational institutions:
“Hristo Botev” School – Gorna Malina,
“St. St. Cyril and Methodius” School – Aprilovo,
Kindergarten “Faith, Hope, Love” – Gorna Malina,
as well as in “Cosmos International School” – Osoitsa village, in partnership with the Local Commission for Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors and Juveniles of the Municipality of Gorna Malina.
The main activities within the project include:
Training for teachers and educators – aimed at early recognition of anxiety, depression and behavioural difficulties in children.
A mobile team of expert psychologists who will provide on-site support in schools and kindergartens, as well as counselling for teachers and parents.
Bullying Free Ambassadors Programme – students will be trained to become active advocates for a calm and supportive environment.
Phototherapy and radio broadcasts – students will have the opportunity to express their emotions through photography, and the topic of mental health will be incorporated into the student radio program.
Resource mapping – a map of local therapeutic and social services that can support children, parents and educational settings will be created.
