Our students from the school film club found themselves right on the set of a new American TV series these days.
They visited BUFO Studio in the village of Dolna Malina at the invitation of executive producer Ivan Ivanov. In this way, they became part of a production that follows the stories of Jews who survived World War II and their journey toward justice.
The series consists of six episodes and will be filmed over 27 weeks in Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, and Brazil.
The students had the opportunity to get first-hand experience with blue box technology and the layering of reality during editing. They were amazed as they immersed themselves in sets of retro buildings and streets. However, the most exciting part for everyone was the direct contact with authentic vintage cars. The authenticity of the sets will remain in their memories for a long time. And their enthusiasm to enter the world of big cinema will keep them motivated and active in their school film activities for a long time to come.
